How To Use

FOR USE IN THE EAR ONLY

  1. Tilt head sideways and place 5-10 drops of the WaxRx removal aid drops into ear. The tip of the drop applicator should not enter the ear canal.
  2. Keep drops in ear for several minutes by keeping head tilted or placing cotton plugs in ears.
  3. Prepare the water by using distilled or previously boiled then cooled water. Ensure the water is VERY WARM (ideally body temperature -- 98-100⁰F) and fill the bottle. Attach sprayer and twist new tip onto the nozzle.
  4. Use the WaxRx Ear Wash System to flush the ear with VERY WARM prepared water and remove wax.

Drops may be used twice daily for up to 4 days, or as directed by a healthcare provider.

Active Ingredient: 6.5% Carbamide peroxide

Uses: For occasional use as an aid to soften, loosen, and remove excessive earwax

Inactive Ingredients: Citric Acid, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Tartaric Acid

pH Conditioning Powder Ingredients

Ingredient: Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C). For cosmetic use only.

Cautions

Do not use in the presence of fever or discharge or where tympanic tubes (ear tubes) are present. Do not use if you have or suspect you have a perforated ear drum. If you suspect you have a perforated ear drum, consult a healthcare provider before using.

Ear washing should not hurt. If you experience pain in your ears while washing – STOP! And consult a healthcare provider.

Always wash with very warm body-temperature (98–100°F or 37–38°C) prepared* water (important for comfort). Dizziness may occur, especially when used with cold water. It is best to remain seated while washing ears.

*Important: Do not use tap water. Always use distilled water or previously boiled and cooled water to ensure safety and cleanliness.

WaxRx® Ear Wax Removal Aid Drops

Ask a doctor before use if you have

  • Ear drainage or discharge
  • Ear pain
  • Irritation or rash in the ear
  • Dizziness
  • An injury or perforation (hole) of the ear drum
  • Recently had ear surgery

Stop use and ask a doctor if

  • You need to use for more than 4 days
  • Excessive ear wax remains after use of this product

Avoid contact with the eyes.

Keep out of reach of children.

Incase of accidental overdose or allergic reactions, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
